Here is the place where we have answered our most asked questions. From fabric details to bespoke services, our FAQ section has plenty of information to assist you before and after you’ve placed an order with us.

1. What size skirt do I need?

If you need any additional sizing information about our long skirts, please check our size chart. If you still require a bit more help, our team would be more than happy to assist you, simply email us at customer.care@shaheensalim.com.

2. How much is delivery?

Our Standard UK delivery is £3.99, however, please see our Delivery & Returns page for updates and timeframes.

3. I left ordering to the last minute, can I get a next-day delivery?

Yes, we offer a next-day delivery option, if your order is placed before midday. Our next-day deliveries are sent on a Royal Mail Tracked 24 services, please contact our customer service team at customer.care@shaheensalim.com to arrange an expedited delivery.

4. Do you offer international shipping?

Yes, we offer international shipping to many countries around the world using Royal Mail’s International Track & Signed Service. Shipping rates and delivery times will be calculated at checkout based on your location but for a more accurate estimate please see our courier’s website.

5. What payments do you accept? 

We are proud to accept payments from Visa, Mastercard, Klarna, PayPal & Google Pay. Please note that at this time we can’t process payments made via American Express.

6. Can I have my order gift-wrapped?

Of course! We offer complimentary gift-wrapping services, all you need to do is reach out to us after placing your order and we will arrange this for you.

7. Do you offer skirt alterations?

Yes, we do offer alteration services to ensure your skirt fits perfectly. Just get in touch with us and we can discuss your alternation needs. However, due to the construction of the skirts, we are not able to offer any alterations to our Wrap Skirts. Please also note that any altered skirts will be non-refundable.

8. Can I collect my order?

At the moment, we’re only able to offer collection in the North West London area, United Kingdom. If you wish to do this, please place your order and send us an email to confirm the collection.

9. Where is my order?

Please see our delivery page for an estimated shipping schedule. However, if after 10 days you still haven’t received your order, please contact us at customer.care@shaheensalim.com for tracking information.

10. What is your returns process?

As long as you are within the 14-day returns window and your skirt is returned in its original condition with all original tags and security ribbons attached, we can process this for you. For more information, please see our returns page.

11. What if my size doesn't fit?

If your size doesn't fit, not a problem. As long as the skirt is in its original condition and still has the security ribbons attached we can either process you an exchange for another size or a refund.

12. Do you offer skirt rental?

Yes, we offer a rental service for those who want to try out our skirts without the commitment. This is perfect for special occasions or just experimenting with new styles. For more information on how this service works, head over to our rental page.

13. What fabrics do you use for your skirts?

Our skirts have been crafted from high-quality polyester, however, each product page will list the exact composition of the skirt. We chose polyester as it’s known for retaining heat, is lightweight and very wrinkle-resistant.

14. Can I suggest a charity for your donations?

Yes, we always welcome suggestions for humanitarian causes to support. Please email your suggestions to customer.care@shaheensalim.com.
